The Avian Caged Sunflower & Mixed Seed Bird Feeder has a squirrel resistant design that provides a safe haven for small songbirds. The 1.5" green vinyl-coated square fencing creates perching for lots of small songbirds while resisting squirrels and preventing larger birds from feeding. The 12.5" diameter green metal feeder dome not only protects the seed from the elements, but also acts as a massive 12 quart seed reservoir. The large seed capacity will reduce the number of trips you make outside to fill the feeder and the tube's clear lexan plastic feeding stations make the seed level visible. The feeder cap can be removed for quick filling and the ingenious clip lock system keeps the cap in place. The feeder tube is made of 1/4" thick, high-density PVC resin that is perfect for feeding small birds with its six feeding stations and individual perches. The reservoir is vented to eliminate condensation and keep seed fresh and dry. The green metal base prevents seed waste and is equipped with drainage holes.
