This squirrel proof bird feeder is made of durable powdered coated steel. The feeder has a large Plexiglas window which allows birds to see the seeds. Birdwatchers can easily see how much seeds the birds are eating and when the feeder needs to be refilled. The unique design allows for more air circulation and water drainage to help the seeds stay dry and the squirrel out.
The bin simply removes from the roof for easy filling, makes fewer spills and can be easily cleaned. It holds an extra capacity of 2 gallons of seeds. (Approximately 11 lbs.) The floor in the seed bin is tilted to provide an even flow of seeds.
There is easy access from the front of feeder to allow a quick tension adjustment. The feeder has special side storm panels that shield the birds from the wind, rain and snow. The unique design allows for more air circulation and water drainage to help the seeds stay dry and the squirrel out.
The Automatic Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder has an extra large steel perch platform that only birds can perch on. The extra large perch platform allows the birds to feed at an angle that best shows their appearance. Squirrels can't chew it and have no place to grab.
